Formed in 2004 by Emmy Award winners Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner, Hazy Mills Productions has created award-winning and critically-acclaimed content in television, film, branded content, theatre, and podcasts.

Yes, Hazy Mills Makes Podcasts!

In 2020, Hazy Mills Productions expanded its focus to developing entertaining, high-quality podcasts with a purpose. Its first ongoing series, HypochondriActor, finds dynamic co-hosts Sean Hayes and Dr. Priyanka Wali marrying comedy and medicine through conversations with incredible celebrity guests. The Hazy Mills podcast studio will soon debut a new slate of shows, including viral comedian Randy Rainbow’s first foray into the world of podcasting.

Hazy Mills Productions' scripted TV credits include Emmy Award-winning Hot in Cleveland, the spin-off series, The Soul Man, Emmy Award-nominated Grimm, as well as NBC's Crowded and Sean Saves The World. They recently produced Q-Force, a Netflix animated series with Mike Schur, starring Sean Hayes, Wanda Sykes, Laurie Metcalf, and David Harbour.

In non-scripted television, Hazy Mills has produced six seasons of the Emmy Award-winning Hollywood Game Night, the Critics’ Choice Award-nominated The History of Comedy for CNN, Movie Night with Karlie Kloss for Freeform, the 26th and 27th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for TBS/TNT, and Too Soon: Comedy After 9/11 for VICE.

From the Screen to the Stage!

In 2018, Hazy Mills Productions ventured into film with their feature debut, Lazy Susan, starring Sean Hayes, Allison Janney, Margo Martindale, Jim Rash, and Matthew Broderick. On Broadway, Hazy Mills produced SpongeBob SquarePants, which garnered 12 Tony nominations. In 2022, they produced the world premiere of Doug Wright’s play, Good Night, Oscar at The Goodman Theatre, starring Sean Hayes as Oscar Levant.

Sean Hayes

President / Co-Founder

Sean Hayes is an Emmy-award winning actor and producer. He is best known for his role as Jack McFarland on the NBC sitcom Will & Grace, for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award and four SAG Awards, along with six Golden Globe nominations. He is also known for his work on Broadway, including An Act of God and Promises, Promises where he received a nomination for Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical. Sean is a host on the hit podcast, Smartless, alongside Jason Bateman and Will Arnett. He also hosts a medical podcast, HypochondriActor with Dr. Priyanka Wali. Sean is the co-founder of Hazy Mills Productions; the television production company behind several hit shows such as Hot in Cleveland, Grimm, Hollywood Game Night, History of Comedy and feature film, Lazy Susan.

Todd Milliner

President / Co-Founder

Todd Milliner is an award-winning producer and writer who co-founded Hazy Mills Productions with Sean Hayes in 2004. Todd has produced over 400 episodes of television, two dozen stage productions and in 2020, his first feature film. On the writing side, his credits include Grimm and Roanoke for NBC, WHAT NEWS for TBS and DUCKS LANDING for HBO MAX. He also co-wrote the Emmy Award-winning 64th Annual Tony Awards. Milliner hails from Chicago, where he performed and taught at the World Famous Second City Theater for five years. In addition to his work at Second City, he spent ten years in leadership development with SBC, TransUnion and HSBC, during which he created a leadership curriculum based on the principles of improvisation taught across the country. Todd has written and produced award-winning branded content for Orbitz, Clark Pest Control, TBS and TNT. He has written and directed eight original sketch shows for Celebration Theatre where he also served on the board. Todd is an Ovation Award-winning producer of The Color Purple and Take Me Out. He is currently developing his first Broadway play.

Ben Heins

Senior Vice President of Hazy Mills

Ben Heins joined Hazy Mills Productions in 2012 when their shows included Hot in Cleveland, Grimm, and The Soul Man. As Senior Vice President, Ben oversees every Hazy Mills project across all genres. He was Associate Producer on Must See TV: An All-Star Tribute To James Burrows and Movie Night With Karlie Kloss. His credits as Producer include Hollywood Game Night, CNN’s popular series, The History of Comedy, The 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, and Too Soon: Comedy After 9/11. Ben served as Executive Producer on their Netflix series, Q-Force.

Michael Kricfalusi

Vice President of Development

Michael joined Hazy Mills in 2019 and currently helps oversee all scripted development within the company. Prior to that, he worked in scripted at Pilgrim Media Group, most notably on The Kiss Quotient, a romantic comedy feature he helped set up at Lionsgate. Recent television credits include Hot In Cleveland and The Soul Man on TV Land.

Emily Benton

Manager

Emily joined the Hazy Mills team in 2019 as Sean and Todd's assistant. Prior to that, she worked in development at Magical Elves on shows such as Top Chef, Nailed It!, Sugar Rush and Project Runway.

Rebecca Eisenberg

Director of Podcasts

Rebecca joined Hazy Mills in 2020 and oversees the podcast division. Prior to podcasting, she worked for David Janollari Entertainment and Universal Television developing shows for TV. Her background is in theatre as a stage manager turned Ovation Award-winning producer. She still works on the occasional theatrical production, focusing on new works and musicals. Rebecca currently serves as the Executive Producer for all Hazy Mills Podcasts, which includes a full slate of shows launching throughout 2022.

Riley Villiers

Associate Producer

Riley joined the Hazy Mills team in 2022 as Podcast Coordinator. Before joining Hazy Mills, she worked on live event and video production at the Inception company. Prior to that, she was an executive producer at BUTV10 working on live election and variety shows.
